Will kate be a fashion icon like Diana was? Some of the best designers in fashion give their take.

Ok here is an interesting look at what designers think of this question. I personally think it will take many years for this to happen. Will kate be a fashion icon like Diana was? Some of the best designers in fashion give their take.
Karl Lagerfeld to WWD
For the royals, apparently the royal blood is not in demand any longer, not that it’s a bad thing. She is very different from Princess Diana, she is chic in a way the position needs. Let’s wait and see.”
Anna Wintour to the BBC:“Obviously Kate Middleton is going to be put under a microscope in terms of the press coverage, and how important she’ll be is really her call.”Giorgio Armani to WWD:
“She will have all the time in the world to become fully integrated into her new role and choose the most sophisticated and precious dresses and outfits for official occasions. She is so discreet and straightforward, but highly aware of fashion trends”.
Matthew Williamson to the Telegraph:
“Kate isn’t a fashion bunny. I don’t know why everyone in fashion is waiting to see what she wears. I’m, like, thinking: get over it.”
Daphne Guinness:
“In choosing Sarah Burton, Miss Middleton not only shows that she supports British designers but that she is also shedding her sweetly demure look for a more serious aesthetic.”
Victoria Beckham:
“I would be honoured if she were to wear my designs. I admire her tremendously. She’s a beautiful young girl, she has a wonderful figure and I think she wears clothes beautifully.”
Valentino:
“She has to do something with this long hair because that is very important. To be a future queen, she can’t keep her hair this long.”

I am the New Fashion & Event Blogger in town

I am the new blogger in town. After realizing that there is so little information about fashion events in our city I thought I would take this task on myself.
I have been to all the main runway shows during fashion week and thought there is nothing really about the stars on the runway, the great models. From new to old faces I thought they deserved a better look at what they do! This is me driving around our big city of T.O and will try to keep you all up-to-date on whats happens in this city after Toronto fashion week!

The Royal Wedding Blitz Is Here

The big day is finally here!  I was 7 years old the last royal wedding I watched, and so the tradition continues. The question that comes to mind is still, who wants to feel like Royalty? Yes every bride wants to feel and look like Royalty on her big day. So why is it so hard to find the perfect dress or outfit for that big day? As I sit here writing, I reflect back on my big day. The sheer joy, happiness, stress, worry, family, wanting to look my best and of course hoping that everything will just go perfect. Well all these years later what I learned is that things will & do go wrong but no one remembers any details other than the Bride. When I think back to all the wedding I have attended, that is all that stands out in my mind.
To be honest the only thing that I will be really watching out for is Kate walking down the isle in her wedding dress. What is going to look like & of course who designed it?
I can't say it enough, I wish there where dresses around that made me look like this stunning model Asha DiPaola. I probably would have sold the farm to get one of these looks. So for all the woman that are getting married and want something just as beautiful as a Royal wedding dress for your big day, this is the Toronto designer that's got it in the bag!

Great Fashion Show in Toronto - Staring Model Asha DiPaola

http://3shahs.eventbrite.com
Gems in the city Fashion fundraiser Show April 27th - Staring Model Asha DiPaola

This amazing event will be a great night out and for a worthy cause. I think that the price tag of only $50 dollars is unheard of for; food, drinks, entertainment and a stomping runway show featuring one of the best models in Toronto Asha DiPaola.
I am just a regular girl that likes to get more fun & fashion for her money. You can't go to the movies for under 50 these days. Well I for one will be there and personally can't wait!
